In our global webinar series, Reimagining HR, we shared insights based on conversations with 100+ senior people leaders on how the people function is evolving to address the challenges of rising geopolitical risks and a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous business environment. In this session, people function and HR leaders heard from some of McKinsey’s leading People & Organizational Performance experts on ways to improve team effectiveness for organizational success. Building effective teams depends on multiple factors, including high levels of trust and communication and an understanding of team context. A new approach helps elevate performance and create value. Through our research involving 110 teams over the course of two-plus years, we find that teams exhibiting the right behaviors are more productive and innovative and deliver better results to stakeholders.
